This where Sharm nightlife began as a small pub where people gathered to have a few drinks  and chill out. The Bus Stop is located in Sanafir Hotel,  the  first  Egyptian  hotel  built  in  1987 in Sharm El-Sheikh,  the  main  Seaside  City  of  South  Sinai,  Egypt. The hotel  has  a  natural  desert  charisma  and is cleverly combined with an ecofriendly architecture.  It is a truly unique place where you can find a balance between nature and modernism. The city started to develop around the mid-90s as a diving and desert safari destination. Since then,  Sharm el Sheikh became a bigger city with night life activities  and  The Bus Stop became THE  Hot Spot in downtown Naama Bay. 

In 1999, the Bus Stop adopted House and Techno music with the goal of speaking  a universal language,  ‘music’.  It drew visitors from Europe and all over the globe, plus the Egyptian trend setters arrived. Rapidly, the Bus Stop increased in popularity, and parties were extended to the much larger Echo Temple, an outdoor desert-theatre and stage located in the heart of the desert and surrounded by the mysterious mountains of the Sinai desert and millions of stars in the sky.

Madou's debut on the dj circuit started at the Bus Stop disco in Sharm el Sheikh in early 1990s. In 1999, revolutionary to Egypt, House Nation parties organized by the Bus Stop have proved he is one of Egypt’s most influential DJs. One of his  biggest successes was the 2001 New Year’s Eve party where over five thousand people rushed into Sanafir to celebrate the event. It was Egypt’s premier party to bring in the New Year! 

In July 2001, The Echo Temple and The Bus Stop participated in the international gathering for “Love, Peace, Coexistence and Human Respect” of the Loveparade Berlin and DJ Madou gained the enthusiasm and appreciation of the 1 million persons. Definitely year 2001 marks a significant evolution in Madou’s career.

From the Bus Stop evolved the revolutionary to Egypt, House Nation  parties. Since  August  1999, every Thursday, the House  Nation parties  have  been  held  with a number  of participants growing up to 2000 and 2500  persons  per event. For this purpose, The Bus Stop  moves  into  the  courtyard of Sanafir and its  balcony become the VIP area overlooking the whole party.

House  Nation has become  the event where people can get together and express their enthusiasm and devotion  towards House and Techno music.

Every   Thursday, clubbers gather  in the magical, authentic, desert-style architecture of  Sanafir, a beautiful open-air arena, which is converted into a huge dance floor. The crowd enjoys dancing in the court, on  the  terraces, on top of the domes, in the lagoon shaped  swimming pool, and under the waterfalls.

Our resident DJ  Madou plays the music  with whirling dervishes, fire-acrobats  and  cube  dancers. This all gets you  into a  1001 Nights  atmosphere with a Techno mood.  A  laser  show  sends beams of  infinity up to the  starry  sky, towards the sea, and crossing the entire bay.

The House Nation party and has TWO zones with 2 DJ’s. What a nice way to spend your evening grooving from a mood to another, and from an area to another. You’d rather some R&B and Latin in the outdoor area or move inside to the Dance and Techno music. Well, it’s up to you! You don’t have to decide now, just come and choose then.
